LookingPoint - Privacy Policy

LookingPoint, Inc., inclusive of its subsidiaries (collectively, "LookingPoint"), is dedicated to providing informative and useful information about its products and services through online, mobile, and other software and related systems and platforms, as well as through in-person, telephone, or other offline interactions and other aspects of LookingPoint's business (collectively, the "System"), including, without limitation, the website located at www.LookingPoint.com. As part of operating the System, LookingPoint collects certain information about users.
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") governs data collection and use at, on, and through the System. Please read it carefully. Each time you use, browse, or otherwise access any part of the System, you signify your acceptance of the then-current Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you are not authorized to access or use the System.
Types of Data Collected
As you interact with the System, you may use online forms to request information, subscribe to our blog, or contact us. To operate the System and our business, LookingPoint collects two types of data:
(a) Personal Data — information that can be used to identify or contact an individual, such as name, company name, job title, email address, telephone number, and billing and transaction records (such as invoices, amounts billed, and payment status) for customers.
(b) Traffic Data — non-personal, aggregate, or technical data, such as IP address, the pages or portions of the System visited, the order in which areas are visited, the device and browser type used, and approximate, IP-based geographic region. Traffic Data generally does not identify individual users; it identifies System users as a whole, including aggregate usage and traffic patterns.
LookingPoint does not collect Sensitive Personal Information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, or information about health, race, religion, or similar categories) through the System. LookingPoint does not capture or store payment card numbers. Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor through a separate, secure link provided to clients; card details are entered on the processor's platform and are never entered on or stored by LookingPoint's website or systems.
Collection and Usage
LookingPoint collects Personal Data when you provide it — for example, when you request information or a consultation, subscribe to the blog, contact us, or purchase or receive products and services. Traffic Data is collected automatically when you visit or use the System.
LookingPoint uses Collected Data to:
LookingPoint discloses Collected Data only to: (i) service providers and contractors who perform functions on our behalf (such as hosting, CRM and marketing platforms, accounting and invoicing providers, and our third-party payment processor), who are restricted by contract from using the information in violation of this policy; (ii) professional advisors, such as our legal and accounting firms; and (iii) law enforcement, courts, or other governmental authorities where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect LookingPoint's rights and property, or protect the safety of any person.
LookingPoint may also transfer Collected Data in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of its assets or equity, in which case we will continue to handle the information consistent with this Policy.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your Personal Data, which may include the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Personal Data, and to opt out of certain marketing communications. California residents have additional rights described in the "Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)" section below. To exercise any of these rights, email us at Support@lookingpoint.com or call 925-566-3480. We may need to verify your identity before responding, as a security measure to ensure Personal Data is not disclosed to anyone who has no right to receive it.
Marketing Opt-Out
From time to time you may receive periodic emails or mailings from LookingPoint with news or information about our products and services. Cookies and Related Technologies
LookingPoint may place small files called "cookies," as well as related technologies such as web beacons or pixel tags, on your device. We use these for purposes such as recognizing returning visitors, remembering preferences, keeping you signed in to portals, and understanding and improving how the System is used. You can manage non-essential cookies (including analytics cookies) at any time through our cookie preferences, accessible via the Cookie Settings link in our website footer, which reopens our consent banner so you can accept or decline categories of cookies. You can also configure your browser to refuse cookies, although some parts of the System may not function properly as a result.
LookingPoint recognizes and honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal (see the California section below).
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this Policy. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"). It applies to personal information LookingPoint collects about California residents through any channel — our website, online forms, email, phone, in person, and our business and accounting systems — not only through our website. Terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used here.

We do not collect Sensitive Personal Information from California residents through our services, we do not collect precise geolocation, and we do not capture payment card numbers (these are handled by a third-party payment processor via a separate, secure link, as described above).
Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information directly from you — when you submit a website form, request a consultation, subscribe to our blog, communicate with us, or become a customer — and automatically through your use of our website (analytics). We do not acquire personal information about you from third-party data brokers or public-record aggregators for the operation of our site.
Purposes for Collecting Personal Information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, consultation requests, and communications; to provide and support our products and services; to manage customer accounts and process invoicing and payment; to send blog updates and marketing communications to subscribers; to operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website and systems; and to comply with our legal, tax, and contractual obligations.
Categories of Third Parties
We disclose personal information for business purposes to the following categories of recipients: hosting, CRM, and marketing-platform providers; accounting and invoicing providers; a third-party payment processor (to enable client payments); professional advisors such as legal and accounting firms; and government or law enforcement authorities where required by law. These recipients act as our service providers or contractors and are restricted by contract from using the information for their own purposes.
Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
LookingPoint does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
If this practice changes in the future, we will update this notice and provide a method to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information before any such activity begins.

We will take steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request to know, delete, or correct, and we will respond within the timeframes required by the CCPA. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may require you to verify your own identity directly with us.
Opt-Out Preference Signals (Global Privacy Control)
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal. When you visit our website with GPC enabled in your browser, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device, and we display confirmation that the signal has been honored. Because these signals are specific to the browser or device, you may need to enable GPC on each browser and device you use.
"Do Not Track" Disclosure
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, and LookingPoint does not currently respond to DNT browser signals. LookingPoint does, however, recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal, as described in the California section above.
Links to Third-Party Sites
The System may contain links to other websites or media not operated or controlled by LookingPoint. Since LookingPoint does not operate or control those sites, it is not responsible for their privacy practices or content. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any linked website before using it or providing personal information.
Measures to Safeguard Children
LookingPoint's products and services are not directed to or intended for children under the age of 13. LookingPoint does not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from children under 13. If LookingPoint learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13, it will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible. If you believe a child under 13 may have provided us with personal information, please contact us at Support@lookingpoint.com.
Security
LookingPoint has implemented administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to help protect Personal Data. For example, Personal Data is stored on systems accessible only by a limited, authorized set of individuals, and certain data submitted through web forms is transmitted using encryption (such as SSL/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and LookingPoint cannot guarantee the absolute security of Personal Data.
Changes to This Policy
LookingPoint reserves the right to change or modify this Policy, including to reflect feedback or changes in applicable law. Please revisit this Policy periodically for updates. Your continued use of the System after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
Governing Law
This Policy and the System are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any claim arising from or relating to this Policy or the System shall be brought in a federal or state court located in Contra Costa County, California, within one year after the claim arises, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. The System is controlled and operated within the United States.
SMS Privacy Policy
LookingPoint ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This SMS Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information related to our SMS authentication messaging service.
Program Description. LookingPoint operates an internal SMS authentication service used by authorized IT administrators to receive one-time passcodes (OTP) required to securely access Cisco administrative systems. When a login attempt is made to Cisco administrative portals, Cisco sends a one-time authentication code via SMS to a designated LookingPoint phone number. The message is automatically captured and securely forwarded to a restricted internal Webex space accessible only to authorized administrators. This service is used solely for internal operational security purposes.
Information We Collect. When participating in this service, we may collect: the mobile phone number used for authentication messaging; records of message delivery; user consent and access authorization records; and any responses sent to the messaging system.
How We Use Your Information. We use the information collected to deliver one-time authentication codes, enable secure administrative login verification, maintain system security and access control, and process opt-out or assistance requests.
Information Sharing. LookingPoint does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or messaging consent information with third parties for marketing purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Data Security. We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect mobile information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
Message Frequency. Message frequency varies and is triggered by Cisco administrator login attempts.
Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan.
Opt-Out. You may opt out of SMS authentication messages at any time by replying STOP to the number sending the message.

SMS Terms and Conditions
Program Name: LookingPoint Cisco Administrator Authentication Service.
Program Description. The LookingPoint Cisco Administrator Authentication Service provides automated one-time passcodes (OTP) used to authenticate administrators accessing Cisco management systems. When an administrator attempts to log in to Cisco administrative portals, Cisco generates a one-time authentication code and sends it via SMS to a designated LookingPoint number. The message is automatically captured and routed to a secure internal Webex space accessible only to authorized IT administrators. This service is strictly for internal operational security purposes and is not used for marketing or promotional messaging.
Message Frequency. Message frequency varies and is triggered by administrator login attempts.
Pricing Disclosure. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and messaging plan.
Opt-Out Instructions. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to the number from which you receive messages. After sending STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages related to authentication.

Carrier Disclaimer. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
