This position will allow you to be a member of an elite team of project managers and engineers playing a key role on our Service Delivery Team. Applicants seeking full-time onsite or part time positions will be considered. Applicants must live in the bay area of Northern California. The Project Manager role is responsible for the overall project management lifecycle ensuring agreed project management processes and methodologies are utilized. Project Managers work on complex technology projects often with high touch customers so great communication skills are must. Our Project Managers are skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that they manage.
EXPECTED SKILLS
Able to effectively evaluate project requirements, risks & ensure customer alignment
Familiar with IT infrastructure, Cisco network & Unified Communications solutions
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Detail oriented, well organized and customer focused
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop detailed project plans to track project progress
Successfully manage the relationships with the customer, engineers and project stakeholders
Manage projects following approved Project Management Methodology
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors during the execution of projects
Report and escalate to management as needed
PREFERRED SKILLS
PMP Certification
Fast learner with strong written and verbal communications skills
Display willingness to help others, a pleasant personality, and a professional demeanor
Experience working closely with engineers on technical issues
